Once a relationship is breached, it can never return to the beginning. Innocence lost – forever. So well expressed in this lovely poem with an absolutely perfect image to accompany it.
I guess it’s all about finding a way to be okay with the new. Even excited. I’m the sort that is all in and if that doesn’t match up then it’ll fail every time. No matter the circumstances, which leads me to be a tough one to sort. I’m happy you liked this, Shari. The image is one I relate to..freckled. 🙂
Oooooo, I can feel this one, my friend. I know your trust has been seriously challenged, hasn’t it.
Here’s hoping for a lovely Friday and rest of today Audrey.
🙂 ❤
I needed five minutes of different to change my frame of mind this morning. This is both perfectly poetic and oddly fitting. Thank you for the just right!
Then you have a morning surprise. Taking an hour at home before getting a late start. Planning on a long day though due to a late call last night. Schedule changed for today but in a good way!
Hmm, can’t read prior words as they are a wee little string down the side of the screen and I lack time to decipher but… But at least today I have given you another surprise!
I’ll take you any way I can get you, Sir. Nothing better than a surprise from the elusive, C. We have quite a chain of messages here..I’d hate to see it end.
I’m well. Lent season has me busy.
How are you? Handling your stresses okay?
C, I’m worried. You’re always so careful. Please, if you feel up to it, check your email soon.
No egg hunt?! If I was there every day would include an egg hunt. Praying you have the best doctors available.
The services went fine we had an egg hunt right after Sunday School let out. Adorable. Easter was beautiful and with the kids. I hosted supper the night before for family and Easter dinner was at my house, as well. Busy lenten season, for sure.
Praying for you.. ♡
You deserve such happiness. I pray you allow it into your life. It is my honor to serve those who love me unconditionally. I’m blessed with a great family.
Such words of wisdom this morning, Audrey! Sometimes relationships are like rivers, you know. They move and change all the time, and nothing remains static. Trust, however, is key. Beautifully said, ma’am!
And usually once things change, its very hard to go back again.

I used to freely dole out trust until too many times burned. I find now (unfortunately) trust is something that needs to be earned.

Though it’s less frequent, it is missed because it certainly does. Glad I have a 20 minute respite today.

Maybe crushing would be a better descriptor. It was my first day in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit. They didn’t even have an egg hunt.
Hope your services and gatherings went well.
