You, always
Always, laugh
Laugh with me
Me, when I need to feel
Feel what’s constant
Constant, is you
You take care of me
Me, who loves you
You, my sisters
Sisters who laugh identical
Ah, bachelor’s buttons! At least that what my mother called them. My father was pastoring a church in SE Colorado. My mother wanted to make the prairie sands capes and enlisted me, at 4 or 5 in the beautify it. I got confused and on Sunday morning I was telling everyone who came into church that we had planted “bachelor’s bottoms.” Everyone was laughting…except for my mother who was beet red.
Giggle. The image all the way around is adorable. What a great memory. Thanks for sharing it with me. My mother was notorious for doing the same. We had flowers everywhere.
Do you ever consider the possibilities of possibility? Duke! You’re correct there is a bit of difference. Happy now! (Bet you wouldn’t know the difference between Audith and Baby.) We’re legendary, you know.
Yay! I’m glad you can identify. I’m fairly certain we annoy people quite regularly, but we pay no mind. Sisters are the best! Thanks for reading and relating, my dear. xx
I feel very fortunate to have them in my life. We haven’t always gotten along perfectly, but we have always loved one another fiercely. We were taught that one day all we’d have was each other. That sticks to a person…I cannot possibly take them for granted. I love them. I enjoy a purple flower. Glad you do too. β‘
Aww. Sometimes I feel like they use sister magic to make me smile. I never get tired of laughing with them. I can’t wait to push’em up Boulder Canyon in a couple months. You may hear them complain from your house. Beware. Not coyotes. ..just my sisters. π π Giggle. Boy do I miss them. Thanks for reading and enduring that ramble, Jay. Thank you.
Hi, Alastair. Sorta hummed along, didn’t it. I like when my poetry is good enough to catch your attention. Your talented eye is appreciated. Glad you enjoyed my nod towards my sisters. The tap-tap power is reflective of how they make me feel. Smiley. Hope you had a great Tuesday.
Audrey I could only smile happily reading your words and embracing the perfect blending of the image. Very beautiful my sister! God bless you and your family!
Wendell, nothing makes me happier than creating a smile. I’m so glad you enjoyed this poem. Those sisters of mine are special people. Thank you, my friend. xx Humbled by your return visit.
