I’ve been lookin’ for you
Don’t blame me for lookin’ here
Flames flicker, attacking sensibilities
Dancing around me, yet settling fears
Like staring into your eyes, almost
I’ve been lookin’ for you
Don’t blame me for lookin’ here
Heat surrounding, starting in my chest
Found now below, urging me to let go
Like the touch of your hands, almost
I’ve been lookin’ for you
Don’t blame me for lookin’ here
Glowing ashes, proof of stability
Mesmerized desire, devoted endings
Like your heart admitting love, almost
I’ve been lookin’ for you
Don’t blame me for lookin’ here
I adore the familarity of this one, Aud. Easy flow, comfortable setting, but crackling sentiments. Great contrasts, those.

Let’s just sit awhile, shall we? Bring Karen and we’ll find the marshmellows, too. Thanks, my dear.

I love how you keep coming back to the reoccurring theme. But…Audith, what are you looking for there?
