Wrap me tight
I need to feel you
Whisper that I’m okay
To be lost this way
I know you’ve been here
This same place
Maybe different thoughts
Yet, always same place
Confused
Lost
Full of pressure
Yet, not alone
But all alone
You know?
Smiles on the outside
Tears allowed
Only for me
I could be
A different breed
Women need
Women seek
Advice, daily
Not me
I couldn’t possibly
Show weakness?
Not in front of you
(Whispering) You’re Okay Audrey Dawn…. Sharing your emotions with a caring soul is never a sign of weakness, but of strength… and when you do… you will never be lost.

(Whispers) This speaks of how badly I needed someone to hear me. Makes me emotional to see it again. Thank you for being here, Michael. ♡

Great poem. Weakness is okay to show, though. I think that was an old snake wrapped around that tree. He can disguise himself.

Thank you, Duke. Not for me it isn’t. You know, I thought of that many times while taking that picture. It really freaked me out!!! I’m still a little sideways about it, actually. This is why I hate snakes… AHHH!

And why not for you? Snakes are rather horrid. Get Oscar on it.

Because..well, I don’t think its okay for me to be weak. I’m better strong. Oscar! He hides behind me all the while shaking. I bet your two would handle the snake better…

Actually, yes, they hunt the beats! Swing them in the air and such. It gets ghastly.

It sounds horrid! Do you watch them and encourage this hunting? I bet you do…

Well…yes! It’s fun to see there faces. And snakes don’t care. I’ve asked them, and they don’t’ answer.

*laughs so hard* You always make me wonder what you’re like to be around. They don’t answer, huh? Duke! You’re a guys guy aren’t you?

No, they just stick out that tongue, you know. Well, yes, I hope so! (Now of course, I don’t hunt snakes as a hobby or anything.)

They stick out their tongues because they’re dead, you know! *laughs* Or just super silly as they get played with, I’m not sure which one… I figured you must be because you know too much about snakes and snails and puppy dog tails. (Somehow…I don’t believe you.)

Well, we have the boring ones around here. Not rattlers, like you have! So, they’re not worth hunting.

Would you hunt the rattlers if you were here, Duke? Would you take me with you? Sounds so scary. ..

If I saw one in the yard, I’d probably have to…for safety’s sake.

That’s what I was going for, Silly. Thank you… I took the photo…wrote the poem. Easy peasy…lemon squeezey.

Ha, ha…my niece has been saying ‘easy-peasy’ quite often, and I never really have heard it much prior. Such ease is always nice.

I boast, but had I taken real time with this one it could have been better. I was just washing out negative emotion.

Very vulnerable, Aud, but somehow still proud of it. Interesting play there.
