Golden feathers sway quietly,
Entranced by Autumn’s breeze.
Every poetic thought, all for nothing,
If the essence of your embrace leaves me.

Opportunity chuckles
Trim the hedges first

Guessing, however, she’s quite sure

Was the complete lack of disrespect.
All I ever needed or wanted from you,

confused.
