sat outside for a bit,
the evening
said good-bye,
a trying week
left behind.
I wasn’t alone
as the rain spat
gaining strength,
I met it
covering my face
go ahead – yours.
I succumbed
released my control again
my breath slowing, and
found I wasn’t alone.
She was with me,
taunting me with her ability
to pose, for him.
Ah, not to worry, Audrey. She assumes the shape of a woman. You ARE a woman. And he can tell the difference.

She looks like her arms are outstretched to welcome him. Everything in its due time, right, Audrey?!

Those words and that shadow ~ you live in an amazing creative world. Wonderful, and I have to agree with John – he’s not buying the pose 🙂

Truly they are, Ben. But you see her flaunting her abilities near me, right? Showing she knows what to do, and the reality of his attention on her.
I’m not much of a competitor in the end. Funny how our minds play against us. (Sigh)
