I – Indistinct

Laughter is missing
Another rusting leaf falls
Sounds echo
And duty calls.
A season
Such as this
Requires tolerance
And will move on

  1. Autumn can be a good time for introspection, you know. Shorter days, cooler temps, kids back in school … not a bad time at all for thinking and contemplating stuff.

  2. Oh no, I love autumn! All those misty mornings and changing colours. Funnily enough, I’ve heard that the US ‘Fall’ is an older English term than the UK ‘Autumn’. A bit like ‘yield’ on road signs, which sounds a bit 18th century to us.
