J – Jaunty

She’s confidant,

Just sure of herself

Is all, really. Her life

Requires radiance

So she stands tall,

legs strong, smile on.

Fingers crossed

Yet she knows,

She’s witnessed

Gorgeous already,

Now, no pressure remains.

  1. Love this photo ~ it describes your words very well, and I suppose it also matches the poetess as well.
A nice little contrast from your “K” poem I’d say ~ “She’s confidant, Just sure of herself ~ Is all, really. Her life, Requires radiance ~ So she stands tall, legs strong, smile on.” Yes, indeed 🙂

    • Your words tonight have made my heart go pitter patter, Mr. Collis. Why are you being so sweet to me? Giggle. I’d like to think the words describe this poetess. My goal, you see. I’m quite happy you approve. Now go and make some other lucky girl swoon all over you. Love having you here and I appreciate you taking the time to read me, Dalo. ♡

    • It is great to have this week of calm before travel again, although heading out tomorrow for some time along the Puget Sound…and perhaps a climb on Ellinor too. Nothing like the feeling of making a heart go ‘pitter-patter’ ~ one of the simple and wonderful things in life…so keep the poems coming 🙂

  2. Now THIS sounds more like it, Audrey! Optimistic, self-confident, expectant of only the good things. Yes, ma’am, you’re getting stronger by the letter — I can hardly wait until I see what your “Z” poem will bring!

  3. I had to laugh out loud at some of the comments and responses above. Jaunty, yes! love that word, I want to be jaunty too. ❤
