Petals Of Applique
Crowded flower appliques
A composition of lacing
Disguises lilac fronds
Pillowing shyly together
They’re found giggling
Fragile muses, for many
A frilly mound of petals
Subdued hues, whispering
Come hither, Darling
Cerulean Sky
Our quiescent moments
Clearly, celestially written
Seeking you in a cerulean sky
Today, blue rediscovers contentment

There’s this face I see
In the mirror
Occasionally lost in fantasy
Pushing through
Emotionless days

Protectors surround deep purple
Guarding with swords of honor

Honoring him with her submission

Outside’s hot lava skyline
This fierce goodnight upon us
Lucent ignition over all of genesis
Beseeching your gallant return to me
Arriving as dawn’s good morning glory

Quietly, I approach the black night
Looking for a glimpse of elusive you
Never far away, yet always out of sight
I crave your flighty essence, my dear
Leaning into who I believe you are
I wait patiently for you to arrive

Day dwellers will never be your type
