dawn,
soft light,
mind travels
to need.
vision of
quiet mornings
bright clear porch view
hand holding
a potter’s clay mug,
dark coffee
hard work, expected
projects dreamed
seen, completed,
enjoyed.
serendipity
she leads me,
knowing just the one
the twinkle in his eye
seen across my face
Beautiful and full of peace Audrey ❤

Didn’t do well at all as yesterday wore on and never slept last night. That made it easy to be outside at 0500 when it was light enough to work. I miss the old ways of getting up and doing that. Work before the heat got up and then retreat to the shade of the porch around 0900 to discuss the rest of the day.
Thanks for that memory trip ma’am.

I’m continuing to pray for your body to heal. My pleasure sparking memories, C. You paint a lovely picture, as well. Those sorts of days are probably a thing of the past, I guess. There’s a lot of romance in those moments.
You’re welcome, Sir

Hi, Gus! Good to see you. Yes, I was just saying it’s nice to allow my mind to see what is possible. Quiet moments are few and far between with teenagers in the house during the summertime. I grab a few when I can. 🙂 I’ll have to see if you have a new post. Thanks for stopping in. ♡
