Lines eyes refuse to ignore…
Sprayed verdant flare
Stretched comfortably
Simplistic
Beaded upon her core
Delicate cream flowers
Perfection within ease
Pausing
Before blossoming
Shh, they, her encore
Lost my train of thought. Too busy making out my bucket list. Last one I had, I pissed in. Thanks for opening the door. Kinda need to be going. As always, a pleasure to swap moments and catch up on what’s where why. Goodnight, Ma’am. *tips hat*
You must have seen a ghost. Why you runnin’? *frowns* Kinda gross of you, Cowboy. Drunk again, I see. You should try a little harder to sweep me off my feet, ya know? * laughs * *waves* Y’all come back now ya hear!?
I’m kinda smart. Sweeping you off your feet would require me helping you get back up. Let’s just say I did and be content. *waves bye* Slightly intoxicated
Duketh! You know where I’ve been! And my travels wore me out, but I’m smilin’. Thank you so much. The last line is a thinking line, you see. I will think on it with you. What’s your thought?
Susan said this is lily of the valley, so it must be so. I sure wouldn’t know, but it’s lovely. And welcome back, Audrey, or are you still on hiatus?? You’ve been missed, my dear!
Yes, always trust Susan, she knows everything. She is adored. Thankbyou, Debbie. I’m back. Here. Not leaving. Exhausted. Over all the travel! I appreciate the sweet hello. ♡
The logistics of travel can be exhausting. However, clearing out the cobwebs and getting a new appreciation for HOME can be oh-so-rewarding. And, if you recovered that elusive Muse, well, you’ve won all around!
Thank you, Gus. Truly. I had a wonderful six or so weeks away. It was a whirlwind of events. Just got home from Texas Hill Country Wednesday night. Oh the water was gorgeous. I can’t wait to share a photo or two soon. I spent a week there, in review, a dew days in Oklahoma, two weeks in Nebraska, a week in Kansas, a week in Colorado and a week in Kentucky. Lots of cloudy pictures, unfortunately. However, I made lemonade out of my lemonish summer trip.
This is beautiful , not unlike a Lilly of the Valley!

Nothing special planned. Just trying to enjoy the rest of the summer with some down time. Letting the day take me wherever it sees fit. 🙂

Quite the tour of the midwest — and I can see how you would say there were opportunities for inspiration by seeing all those different places.
