Life promenades before us, displayed
By morning, new breath exists
Avenues to explore, witness
Desires simplistic, a need to express
Let’s leave the path, get lost instead
There are not too many people in the world that would jump at that last line, or even think to write it π Well done Audrey, it is something your writing shows so well…that perfectly time jump that shakes up the mood.
I would jump. I would most definitely jump, Dalo. I’ve always been the one to say…come let’s just try it even before a couple of beers. Thank you, Dalo. I’m thrilled you like my “hooks”. xx
Yes, a video there would be perfect, but there would be no sound? Maybe a few birds, but hardly recognizable via my phone video. What song suits this place, Duke?
Well, there’s always some background sounds…if I was filming, and I had a location that beautiful…I think I’d want to film Lord of the Rings or Across the Stars. Something like that.
You have plenty of beautiful places, I’m sure. You have to go find them. Or tell someone to, Duke. I’d poke around for you if I lived closer. Ahh, interesting choices.
Oh, just that time of year where we plan our major fundraiser which helps fund our school. All hands on deck, plus the end of school is appproaching quickly and lots to finish. Normal stuff.
Paths are nice, but sometimes one has got to venture off. How else can we discover new things?? I love the Spanish moss hanging in the trees, Audrey, and I so miss seeing it. Sigh.
Yes, discoveries are always waiting aren’t they, Debbie? I couldn’t agree more. You would love it here right now. The moss is simply amazing. In the evening…dark and mysterious and during the day…well…inviting. Enjoy your weekend, my friend. xx
Thank you, Lady P. Wonderful to see you. Hope all is well and you’ve been managing okay since your father’s passing. I’ve kept you in my prayers, my friend. Enjoy your weekend, as well. β‘
Oh, Audrey, I am SO touched. I really am getting along so much better lately, as I seem to be channeling my grieving into movement. I am creating new with my art, digging out and throwing out with my personal “stuff”, just seemingly as though taking stock of what is in my Life, as to what stays what goes. Bless you for your prayers. It hasn’t been easy, but lately, much much better. I do Love you, my friend. (((HUGS))) Amy
I’m relieved to hear you’re doing okay, Amy. Your talent is immeasurable. I enjoy following your blog and encouraging words. You have a beautiful following and some incredible friends. Life is good for you, my dear. Not every day can be perfect, so when they aren’t relax into the ride and consider how far you’ve come. The positives will lift you up. β‘ Hugs. Love always, Audrey
Oh, Audrey, your words upon which my Heart just embraced, lifted me so high. Your words will be with me this day, and so I sing. Bless you, my friend. Bless you! Love, Amy

That’s exactly what we need: a location scout! It’s so hard finding the right place.

Yes, a scout who would willingly drive a scout. Right up my alley! Especially if you have the place already in your mind, then nothing else will do.

Yes, that would be awesome. As of now, our team is a bit short on people.

I’m short on people, too. I need about four more hands.

Not necessarily. Already on too many divergent paths however – need a bit of orienting to the middle. But I like what your poem suggests.
