Like a soft breeze
Tonight you arrived
Willingly
Feeling you
All majestic
Exhaling with relief
Agreed
You have the ability
Yes, to surprise
Violence to such a degree
Shades of you
Not a picture of love
Most importantly
It scared me
Point proven
Shaken
Yet, not moving away
Onward movement
Like a dream
You opened your soul
A beautiful piece
It was a pleasure to see
Thank you
A better understanding
I enjoy how you give me the opportunity to linger on certain words and phrases. Right now, I’m playing back “a better understanding” and liking what that evokes. That’s a sermon title if I’ve ever heard one.

I love how you found a poem I haven’t seen or read in a while, and take me back to why I wrote it. Thank you, Richard. A better understanding is indeed what we’ve both now achieved. Write that sermon, Richard. I appreciate your commenting today. I like hearing from you. I identify with a quiet reflective reader.

Quite perfect. “Shades of you”: what a interesting choice of words. I really really really like that.

Thank you. We all have them. Don’t you think? It’s about finding the one who’s shades speak to yours, I believe. Glad you found this one, B.

Hmmm…not really. I think it may be the power of suggestion. Tis a poem, Duke! How do I know. … 😆 I just write the words down…I really can’t explain some of my poems. And…I don’t like that very much, actually.

Why?! That’s amazing, Audith! Always better not to be able to explain. That’s what I think at least. 🙂

I don’t know why?! Help me! 🙂 Yeah, and sometimes Audith is too bashful to explain. 🙂

(Shh…the professor may get bashful at times too…) Well, that’s fine, then. You needn’t explain it to the professor. I’ll figure them out!

(Gesh, what sort are we, Duketh?) 🙂
No, tis fine, Duke. Really.

Nothing is find unless it gets the professor’s stamp of approval. Imagine how many un-fine things there are out there!

You’ve lost your stamp and your mind. I’ll start looking in the backyard.
