Light enhances a heliotrope tinge
Starlet becomes a beautiful specimen
Without her, we’re left simply craving
Roaming gardens for an alternative
Proving she’s the one above all else
We’d rather wait for with baited breath
Upon a tower, for one small glimpse
Of the unique and luminous bellflower

Beauty Of The Garden
Beauty of the garden
Soft, smooth and velvety
Perfect shade to please
In season and willing
For you to take a peek
Approach her gently
Don’t confuse her
With your favorites
She’s no lady in waiting
She’s completely aware
Of what she offers
Not your normal flavor
Command her attention
Ease into her with caution
She shines iridescent inside
Special Coupling
SPECIAL:
Shining simplicity
Popping pleasantly
Exuding exquisiteness
Cherished couple
Innocent illumination
Always attentive
Longing lovers
These two have something special, I think. Look at the way they pop off the green leaves behind them. Carefree, as if together they understand this crazy world a little better, because they have each other. They almost look to be grasping petals, don’t they? I find peace in believing that these two are holding onto each other, actually. Probably clueless to the idea that everyone wants to live life similarly, choosing to believe everyone already does, and we definitely should be. Two flowers perfectly suited for one another and willing to go through hell as one. Love at its finest, it seems. ♥
She’s Here For You
Because of you
She’s bursting
Folds ripple adoringly
Pushing ahead
Before anyone else
Ready for the taking
Choose her
Water her
Keep her in your vase
Smell her fragrance
Let it linger in your face
Find comfort in full beauty
Let her heal your worries
Allow her to celebrate your joy
Give her your attention
She’s here for you

Pleadings With The Queen
Purple
There she is
Wide open for all to see
The vibrant color of sisterhood
Tell me how you manage to breathe
May I ask truthfully, Your Royal Highness
Amazing beauty, the Flower Queen
Thoughts of life, consuming me
Teach me royal bravery, listening
How do you keep your wits
I’m breaking down
I feel it
Excused
Yellow Flowers
Hello
yellow petals
welcome me in
curves are slight
a simple delight
jagged tips I want to touch
perfected yellow pinwheel
straight lines
toned to stand just so
look at you
bright as the sun
amazing structure
you grow and grow
wild at heart
amidst the fields
I wouldn’t gather you
I’d leave you here
although
a perfect addition
for my red hair
placed through a knot
on hot summer days
oh, yellow flower
why are you so beautiful
placed boldly for me
am I jealous of you
or are my feelings
merely love
denying
the romantic
in me
Thank you, Paul (click on his name to see the pretty flowers) I appreciate the beautiful photo you shared, our new friendship, and then the encouragement to write a poem about your yellow flowers. However, thank you for following my posts, as well. Romania must be beautiful this time of year. Enjoy! (Sometimes our silent followers need a push to say hello. Ours was a rocky start, but I think you’ll see the humor if you read our conversation under the photo.) Happy Friday!
Passionate Pink
Splash of color
Bathing in green
Pale, light, angelic flower
Hint of freckling
Quiet and willing
Independent
Brave
Although, quivering
Choosing to believe
She belongs here
Refuses to compare
Color or ability
Once a bud with hot pink protectives
Then the sun arrived
Petals begin to emanate
Flowing
Stretching their limbs
A fair maiden preparing
Soaking in ray’s of sun
Light creates her sublimely
Sweet, pale, pink flower
Nothing else compares
Yet, she holds no power
Remaining vulnerable
To your stare
Red
A beauty on the outside,
Slowly dying within,
Take me somewhere today, I haven’t been.
~
Don’t look at me in splendor,
Approach me with interest,
Center my thoughts, find my grin
~
When a woman is pensive,
Much like a rose,
Sat quietly in the light, beginning to grow.
~
Come to me she beckons,
Velvet to the touch,
Warmth of your heat, begins the death of me.
~
To be on display for your charms,
We’d take it no other way,
Unfolding petals, disarmed.

March
Spring flowers
Growing wild outside,
And in my mind
Remind me why,
I chose today to fly
Should I trust
I’m a small bird
In a big world,
An overwhelming view
The rain was massive
A tsunami, of sorts
The wind blew,
Yet allowed me to stand
Then made me climb mountains,
Scream towards this vast land
View ocean’s waves,
Pondering thoughts in my brain
But it was the train, train, train
What I would give for one more ride
One more try
I blame Spring Break
That nasty troll
The best was the robin red breast
I loved his sweet tune
All of these reminded me of you
March came in like a lion
Been sitting like a lamb
Bring the lion back
Is all I ask
