You know, I think in life sometimes we gotta do the same…and either cry out (or take time out) for me, me me ๐ That is such a great poem for this great photo!
Its the crying out which makes me feel like a fool…keeps me left needing to control everything.
The photo is not great. Sometimes I’m too lazy to write the entire picture in words so I head outside. I am quite embarrassed by the photos I add, you know. Which then sends me back to full on word poetry…it allows me to think harder about what I see. Does that make sense?
I like how you understand my poetry, Charles. Thank you. I don’t like feeling as though I’ve been dismissed. Do youโฆtisn’t a good feeling at all. I should really learn how to keep that from happening.
Hs, ha…now that is good. So accurate, a bit cruel ~ but then again life is never fair all the time ๐

Hey Randall!! Glad this found a laugh. Sadly, life is never fair. Something about those petals just screamed…”me me me”.

Really? I would have thought ‘insightful,’ ‘intuitive,’ and ‘brilliant’ in my understanding of the haiku.
LOL! Obviously I joke about those qualities in myself – there are days when I can barely figure out which shoe goes on which foot!
I enjoyed the haiku very much. I wish I had the gift of writing poetry. I don’t – but I do have an appreciation for it. ๐

It was all of those, as well. LOL But I do find your description romantic!
Girl, there are days I forget that I need shoes.
I’m thrilled that you stop by here to find a little poetry. Maybe you should try…. ๐
Thank you so so much, Kate.

Oh, I think the ones under are dominating!

You do? How’s that, Duketh? I’ll give it to you that they are greater in number, but the three lavender petals outshine, probably.

Well, if they weren’t under there, the whole plant would look pathetic, wouldn’t it?

You have a point. So much truth in that sort of thinking, you know. You’re so philosophical today, Duke.
