Countryside view, and
I want you with me.
Yet, it isn’t so, but somehow
I found a
crystal blue pond reflection, and
You.
Sunflowers, abound, yet still
You.
Hum of the open road,
You.
Music – believe me, again
You.
Clouds wrote your name in the shape of feathers,
You.
Wind whispered, you’re not welcome,
and I reach for you.
Thanks for capturing the beauty we often overlook.

I appreciate you seeing this for the beauty that it is, Dan. I adore how nature causes a simple stirring within. Feels safe there, in spite of what it’s capable of, as crazy as it sounds.

There is always something in your words that makes me reflect on what a great world we have the privilege of living in… The feeling in your words draws me right into that countryside setting, and I can feel the depth of emotion in every line… so this is what poetry is all about, isn’t it Audacious?!? 🤔 😊. The world seems to echo the ones we long for—and that makes waking up every morning so worth it! ❤️

Randall, I was just saying how incredibly safe I feel close to nature, in spite of what it’s capable of doing. I think there is truly something to viewing the world in a positive light when it would be so easy to focus on the negative. Thank you for your kind comment. I feel seen by you.
I’ve always been intrigued by the simplicity of nature, especially when considering how our ancestors traveled out of pure desire for a new experience. Its so easy for me to choose the beauty around me. I enjoy sharing it here – and yes, it is exactly what poetry is about, my Photographer Philosopher Extraordinaire.
Be safe out there!
Hugs! ♡
