It Was Me

either way, we’ve all learned
and it’s been a year.
Saffron and Amber reveal their dress,
I sit and wonder how it’s possible, Winter,
how beauty presents as a mess, yet is defined by the eye.
Dirt needs its rest, leave the weeds, even
a fixed tin roof allows for dry, so
let nature grow – haphazardly.
Disrobe the world, let them be,
focused on how to heal.
Honestly? He didn’t really need me.

  1. Wow, what a sky… if there is something I’ve learned growing up in the countryside, is when a beautiful sunset decides to arrive – it does so in mind-bending glory πŸ™‚ A view like this immediately cleans the mind and soul, just let the day go and sit back to take it all in. Winter is made for this. Such a beautiful photo, its always a sky like this that gets me dreaming – and hopefully this will be the year when they call come true for us. Stay warm, let the land take care of itself and enjoy the winter rest ~ cheers.

    • Dreams of what maybe really are the juice needed to stand up and face reality, Randall. I’ve found – do you remember the old Christmas Santa Claus movie from childhood when they encouraged us to put one foot in front of the other? What a motto! Here, recently, I’ve encountered the reoccurring theme of appreciation and allowing it to be seen on the daily. Game changer!! Hey, thank you for your words and visit. Love having you stop by – one busy guy. β™‘
