If I linger here too long
Allow these yellow beauties
To continue as the butterflies, I see
Multiple and delicate ailerons
Upon my freckled face, fluttering
I’ll end up rolling through them all
Waiting for you to join me
OK, I admit to looking in a thesaurus for a word that meant wings, but wasn’t the word wings… Do you feel better now? π We both learned something new, Alastair.
Sigh. Exactly what I was going for, my dear. Thanks for paying such close attention. Thrilled to know this one sits well with you. You’re the best, jf. xx
I really enjoyed the feel of this whole post.. and I love the yellow flowers!
Also… I have a new blog– my old one got deleted (you can read my first post for the 411) but… this is me now: https://west517photos.wordpress.com/
No rolling through a field of daffodils for me, Audrey. Guess I’m too practical and don’t want to ruin all that beauty! But, gee, what a lovely thought this is!!
That’s the spirit Audrey. Be like that little child and enjoy playing in the beauty.
