Do you ever have moments where you find yourself wishing, if even for a few brief seconds, you would’ve shared a sunrise like this with someone special?
Me, too.
When an unexplainable dawn leaves me breathless, this is when I need you the most. You could use your words to help me see her beauty, possibly the greatness that could come from today.
Instead, I’ll leave you with this:
A breathless dawning
Winter doesn’t look the same
Take me to the snow
Oh… how I wish to share ‘every’ sunrise with that special someone… When I find a way to do that… they will all be “Audacious Dawns”… Beautiful post, Audrey…

Now that is exactly what dawn should feel like ~ enjoyed hearing your thoughts behind the poem, makes them even more wonderful. The grey morning skies in Seattle, as well as chilly temps, can’t offer anything close to the sights you’re seeing. Sit back and enjoy π

*blushing* Dalo!! Thank you… You’re happy, I can tell. Look at you flirting away. Home looks good on you, I’ve noticed. Yeah, maybe it has everything to do with who we experience the sights with. Enjoy those cool temps and wear a sweater…one that brings out the color in your eyes. π

Man, can I relate to this. After 12 years in Brazil, and Christmas during the summer, I still haven’t gotten use to it. I love getting so much sun in my life, but during this season I was some comfy, cozy, snowy, fireplacey type of thing.

It is a totally different mind set, I agree. Christmas in the summer must just add to the confusion. Yes, I’m dreaming of the same things, Staci! π A setting for a perfect snuggle. Enjoy your day.

Hehehe. Very different indeed. You go into the shopping mall and there are lights, decorations, Christmas music. I get all nostalgic and the ooey gooey Christmassy feelings. Then I walk outside to heat and it rapidly disappears.

You have a great day too Audrey.

But there’s something beautiful about that…and you wouldn’t get that up here… It’s so foggy and cold!

Yes, there is something beautiful about the photo, is that what you mean? I already said it was a lovely sunrise. I like foggy and cold. Some of the best events happen when it is foggy and cold.

Yes, it is what I mean. No, only werewolves come out when it’s foggy and cold!

I guess we kinda do, Luke. One cool thing about blogging, huh? π However, to witness together is probably so much better.

Since I don’t live in the tropics, this palm tree does look odd in winter… but this dawn is still quite beautiful π

I’m not sure I’ve gotten used to it, Gus, even after seven years… thank you. β‘
