To be a content woman
Her dreams have to include
Thoughts of happily ever after
Whether with or without you
Either path has her succeeding
The beauty in her expression
A perfect crystal clear mirror
Distraction looks good on her
She adorns herself in confidence
Her smile a reflection of her inner light
She looks in the mirror, not to look back,
but to measure the path and growth of her spirit.
Distraction! I love the premise to this poem lots.

I don’t know that we come first, but it is a bit like putting the oxygen mask on us first so that we can help others.
