praying seems simple
but what do we pray for,
the healing to continue?
even when every single day
is tough
maybe we pray for an end
of suffering, yet
I can’t fathom
world’s apart or dust to dust,
so here I am
upon knees, head bowing
please, it’s your will,
please.
and my loved one,
my inner child screams.
Asides
His Rapture
Wanting It More
to fall in love
it’s meant to be that way
to become the muse
the light to their day,
a star located
among millions
far brighter,
chosen for reasons
lost on many,
becoming the final piece
to a complicated mind’s frenzy.
much to be learned,
watched and adored,
realizing you’re not the one,
will make you want it
that much more.

Onward
gripping flocculent monochrome thoughts
like grass tuffs in summer
now willing their release,
i know not what will become of me.
coolness of springtime
wearing off inside my palms,
as deep down the warmth of earth corrects right side,
my defeated revered thumbs.
dark corners of the woodlands
beckon hither
my soul hinged upon true light,
sprites leading in delicate whisper
don’t go for fear of what might…
chase winter with abandon,
fragile heart,
much yet to be loved
like melodic hums chasing snowflakes on tips of tongues.
so come old man winter
blazing frosted cool crisp air,
however I am treasured,
stripped tree my protector,
expose of me what you dare.
Please, Mamma
Forgotten
Discouraged
Look above where you’re going
And believe you can fly
I keep searching for answers
Trying on different socks for size
Instead of kicking rocks ahead
I’m wishing for someone else’s life
Simplicity translates, and its staring back at me:
Stupid, take your own advice
But then I’m left defeated
Already familiar with my set of lies
Just Try
Irreplaceable
Seems I Already Did
Up From Under Me
Tomorrow Within Me

I become stronger as today comes to an end, as I know you are waiting.
I take time to thank God, our Creator, who designed you to help teach.
I lay in quiet sheets composing your sunrise, as I drift off to sleep.
Tomorrow, your constant knowledge is somewhere deep within me.
