(He) Sounds Of Nature

Posted on May 2, 2020 by Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister

your glow is more of a tone
and upon me
your hold is mounting.
I shiver as you enter,
your rumble a possession
of what my soul is lacking
and I beg you, come.

As the cardinal calls, ” Here. Here. Here.” Over and over again until I stop and look up into the tree and we connect.

This I get and the pleasure is indescribable.

Retreat

Posted on May 16, 2017 by Audrey Dawn - Oldest Daughter Redheaded Sister

Thunder calls
Soothes, instantly.
I feel
What I cannot see.
Silence explains
Everything.
Nature sighs,
Humanness remains.
I watch lightning
Seek me
Through the trees,
And sense you
Leaving,
Light ceasing
To reach me.

Storms Will Brew

Whatever monstrous storm you escort,
Be aware that I contain determination.
Fearless disbursements of strength,
Withstand forces of a cimmerian sky.
Calmness shall dismount here soon,
Predetermined fate will then smile.
Accelerate the tempestuous rain,
Peaceful contentment surely awaits.
