excitement extinguished in a word, yet
each recorded as swift.
life documented in color
the end begins with light, yet
regardless there’s mourning.
slam the book shut
allow dirt time to dust, yet
both examples of waste.
opportunity comes calling
change deemed the enemy, yet
life vastly awaits.

Sometimes the world is a better place when confusion sets in… we have no choice but to make sense of it, and in doing so, we figure ourselves out a little bit more 🤠!
Wonderful to read you this morning, Aud ~ and your first lines set the tone perfectly, from one extreme flying and the next, well extinguished is the perfect word. The wild swings of life push us to always evolve, always change. Wishing you happiness, warmth, and health as we head into the Year of the Snake 🐍, may it be full of rich experiences my beautiful poetess 😇.

The best parts of life are when we realize the struggles really do carry us into beauty. 2025 has gone smoothly thus far, even with all the snow and random roadblocks. You make my day so bright.
