Dan, this my first experience with an underground metro station. I’ve seen them in photos and movies but never used one. Houston and St. Louis’ metro system is all above ground, or we’re when I used them for different occasions. So many different stories on the faces of the people I encountered. I enjoyed learning how to use the smart trip app.
Well, at least for the east coast, you had the best. DC is much, much cleaner and easy to figure out than NYC. Boston is easy to figure out, but grimy and dingy.
Yes! Honestly, I really enjoyed how easy it was to travel on the fast pass system. My biggest giggles were over how I had no car for so many days in a row. I’m such a Midwesterner. We use our cars for everything!

My son just got back from NYC and he is in complete agreement, Dan. He had a video of the notorious NCY rat to show me.
