fingers intertwined
my fair skin soft
accepting,
yours, rough
warm
and perfect.
a robin, skipping
into his early arrival,
chirrs, echoing joy
melodiously across
winter’s pasture.
light wind is crisp,
yet knowingly full
of comfort, as we
strengthen our
protective grip,
walking.
Another stunning one, my poetess friend!!

Thanks, Dan. Maybe the end of the poem is where the poetry is found. Scenes like this one always brings me comfort. No idea why. #countrygirl Maybe.

Yeah, just within the last few hours a warmish day has turned cloudy and winter-like. Snow by Wednesday, they say. Go figure. Thank you, Ma’am.
