Feels Like Home

fingers intertwined
my fair skin soft
accepting,
yours, rough
warm
and perfect.
a robin, skipping
into his early arrival,
chirrs, echoing joy
melodiously across
winter’s pasture.
light wind is crisp,
yet knowingly full
of comfort, as we
strengthen our
protective grip,
walking.
