How did I miss this one? Glad I’ve found it now. Two of my grandkids have freckles – I find them charming, and indeed, they help make them who they are – spunky, creative, sensitive. Wouldn’t change them for anything. (But we do see that they wear sunblock!)
I’m not sure how you missed this one, but there was a time when you were quite busy, as I have been as of late. You’re very much excused, my dear. Hope you see those freckles a lot this year, with sunscreen, of course. Grandchildren smell even better with sunscreen. 🙂
My freckles are the one thing I’ve always liked about myself. As a teen people asked why I didn’t cover them up, but I always associated them with Anne of Green Gables, Huck Finn (in movies) and various other spirited youth–my heroes. I still want to raft down the Mississippi.
I liked this a lot!
I don’t really cover mine either, which is why I used this photo yesterday. Loved Anne! Spanky’s freckles, too.
I’ve found myself seeing other people’s freckles and finding myself thinking how well they suit their face or body. I am happy to have mine, too. I’m glad you saw this post, Adrienne. I’m one step closer to the complete profile.
I forgot about Spanky! I LOVED him!
Me, too! 🙂
It’s Audith! Is it Audith! I enjoyed that very much. *smiles bigly*
Yes, now stand back because the ground is shaking a bit, Mark. Thank you for the kind response and weekend wishes. Yes, I am a puzzle, for sure. How funny!
I do feel your tremors, Audrey. Relax, it’s the weekend, the eyes have it!
Haha..thank you for that, Mark. Actually, it doesn’t hurt a bit. Enjoy your night.

and feel quite sticky!
Beautiful imagery, Audrey.
Well, thank you. It was strange writing so clearly about myself.
Delightful poem, sweet imagery! Well done, you. 🙂
Aww, thank you, my friend. 🙂

Yes! T’is Audith, Duketh. *hides in a hole*
Thank you, Sir.
*smiles bigly*
Why are you smiling so much! I don’t look that funny, Duketh!! *sticks her tongue out at you*
Well…okay, then. *scowls*
*scowls too* Not sure I like my eyes like this, Duketh.
But you can’t see them.
Yes, you’re right. My bad.
Can’t argue with these lines. 😀
Very sweet, Salva. Thank you 🙂
Wishing you a delightful weekend!
Thank you. Hope you enjoy yours, as well.
You know if all those freckles stuck together you would have a fantastic tan.
Leslie
I say that all the time, Leslie. When I lay out the joke is that I’m one step closer to a great tan. 😉
Way to go.
Leslie
🙂
I LOVE this one.
Thank you! I mentioned recently how much I love the word wisp to Richard. Its been on my mind and showed up here in my poem and all over my face.
I’m thinkin’ Richard should have some kind of award–he seems to bring out the best in many of us.
🙂
The unveiling, Audrey, and we were here for the eyes and the freckles! Wonderful hello to the weekend, wisps of your puzzle!

That’s lovely
Thank you, Richard. Shy hazel eyes spotted, finally.
You’re braver than me 😎
Remember that discussion about competition we had…I’m winning in the eye game. 😉
I don’t remember anything beyond five minutes ago, but I’ll say you have (I’ll say it………LOL)
You’ve robbed me of my gloating… LOL (Uncle?…lol)
You can gloat if you like.
No, the act of gloating has always escaped me.
That’s because you’re such a nice person. I’d gloat.
Nice? Hmm, which makes you rotten. LOL
Only when I’m winning. I’ll let you know different if I ever lose 😉
(Damn! You said I did!!!)
😉 Will the earth shake, as well? Just want to be ready…. (Yes, I did!!!)
Was it good?
Was what good?…
The ground shaking LOL
Did it? LOL I think I missed it.
My head was spinning before we started this LOL
I’ll bid you goodnight. Bedtime here.
Ha! It always does.
Good night, Richard.
