Alone
Waiting, hopeful
Just beyond the palms
You left me with a mystery to solve
Unsure if you ever wonder about me
I try so hard to continue to breathe
You arrived that day like a dream
Showing me your strength
Now I see nothing
Lost, forgotten
Tell me
Wonderful poem…and again fits with the photo so well (and palms waiting to grab what you are waiting for). Well done yet again π

Hey you! I was just thinking of you earlier today. Wondering how you are…how awesome to see this comment.
Thank you, Randall. This one a bit sneaky. It really is the photo that creates the poem. I just write what it tells me to write. π Only I wish I knew what the palm was grabbing towards..
I’m thrilled to see you. Hope all is well…

I like it when a photo leads the way into words… That is how I view life I suppose π

Yes, I suppose that would be a photographer’s way. π

I imagine the open palms, hands, waiting, open, pleading, uncertain. Good one, Audrey.

I just finished reading your other post from early this morning. I wanted to comment but felt as if its been a lot of commenting already from me. This is what happens when I get behind. I look like a blog stalker. Ha. Anyway, I had a neighborhood just like yours. Made me miss everyone.
Yes and then waving good-bye finish your walk lady…thank you. π

I do not feel like you are a blog stalker. Do you feel like I am a blog stalker? Oh, criminy, now you done got me paranoid, Audrey.

No don’t be paranoid…I was kidding. I also knew you were writing. I wanted to be nice is all. You aren’t a blog stalker…not with a hat like that.

Hah. I have been like you the last couple of days, though. When you’re busy writing and living in the day, the blog reading and blog commenting gets pushed later and later, and I don’t want to miss any.

I know! The ones I get emails for keep me busy and they take priority to scrolling the reader. (You posted super early in the day..it was my last email.) But I need to do that as well. What a web of late night conundrums.

I posted it early because I had insomnia last night.

The WP version of the butt call! Not to me, Audrey, though I’d be the understanding one. You actually type out stuff here on your phone?! Good gravy, that would be a pain.

Naw, I only move to my phone when I’m finishing up. Sensing the tired eyes. And my phone is a Samsung note…tis huge.

Yes, I know. Second line. But I didn’t feel like that was the supreme “hopeful” moment. And I’m not sure why.

Hey there! Thank you, Morgan. Sadly, it only takes one negative thought to allow a poem like this to surface. A girl who wears her emotions on her sleeve. I’m doomed! π
