Passenger train take me with you
The steep mountains won’t hinder
Raised with a will to prevail
Witnessing the hills you’ll race
Up then down
Clear with abundance
Ease
Eyes wide open
Longing for uncharted territory
Isn’t that all part of the thrill
Passenger train I hear the noise
Louder and louder it arrives
Your sounds fill my mind
Your power
Stirs my soul
Leaving me
Reminded
Grasping at solid foundations
Powerful work
Exhausting
Distance needed to travel
Shan’t be my concern
Fearing a loss pushes my imperfections
The beginning and end start with breath
Passenger train keep seeking
Allow me one more ride
Now I’d like to ride a train. Never have. But I think this poem is sort of like a “life” ride, huh?

I’ve been on one either. Let’s go!! It is a life ride, Duketh. You know this girl pretty well. Trying to find comfort in truth through my words. Clickity clack….

The professor is a good judge of such things. Will they let me bring my sword on the train?

The katana is always welcome on a train. Bring it’s important papers proving it for security purposes only. Especially since I’ve asked to borrow it.

Oh yes, why do you want it again?

Or like a writing process one can’t get a hold of as they try to figure out how to be comfortable in their own skin.
Thanks. I’m glad you liked it. How are you?

I’m good.
Hmmm figuring things out.. maybe you shouldn’t try to be comfortable lol

Ok. Explain. I will take your advice. Do you mean it seems to be fine teetering like it is…?

Yes, IMO. You(or the narrator) seems ready for the undefined journey, which I think is the beautiful thing about it. Teetering, too, can be nice.

That is exactly where I want to be, actually. The anticipation, longing and the desire for the process is what I don’t want to lose. However, I need to feel okay with admitting that I love those feelings. Heart wide open kind of stuff, if that makes sense.

Very serene and calming. I read earlier this week about something called a Writer’s Residency Program on Amtrak. I think it’s an author gets to do a round trip on a train while working. I can’t tell if it’s free or a paid program:

Wow, this looks fantastic. How cool. Thanks for sharing this with me. I would do this. Would you? I bet it would be super inspiring.

I’m not sure. I’d love to do it, but I fear I’d be more interested in watching what is going by outside. Though the price of free is intriguing. π

LOL…the thought crossed my mind, as well. The windows would be too distracting. π

I also get motion sickness when trying to read or write. I’d be a terrible candidate. Now if I could toss my family on the train to get them out of my hair, I’d be all for that. π
