Defined petals in full view.
Cohabitation splendor,

Stalwart Guardian
Lingering and consuming
I lay underneath
Lives continue,
One thing after another.
Thoughts, to consider,
Relax, enjoy, breathe.
Summer’s here,
Make me a drink,
Slide on the sunscreen,
Let’s get lost in the heat,
I feel you with me.
Casting down poetic eyes,
while fostering emotions differently,
an accepting Poetess waits.
To protect herself,
she delicately wraps,
her fated heart,
destined to react,
expressively.
Securing each subliminal verse,
as her own dreaded curse,
she stands alone.
Tears falling, gently,
escaping from her grasp,
lost inside moments,
she knows will pass.
Searching tonight,
Over a lustrous sky,
Exhausting the view.
Twilight shifts slowly,
Golden eyes fluttering,
Transforms dusk into you.

Looks refreshing and cool
Summer day remedy
Don’t be fooled
Hot, Humid, Houston
Jacuzzi swimming pool
Placed on simmer
Water creates emotion
These legs need to run
Sat delicate, pay no mind,
She isn’t for you, not your kind.
Awaits a brave fellow,
Adorned in yellow,
To match her, petal for petal.
No disrespect intended, you see,
She thrives on his primitive abilities,
To find her, Melancholy Mellow, lingering.
Knowing you’ve returned
Calms my wandering soul
And leaves me breathless
Dawn’s brightest moments
Captured by your eager eyes
Leaves me pink shades of shy
Ignition of color, brings on bold
Orange, lends a craving splendor
Alive with dawn’s first glowing touch
Instead of reflecting
Over where we’ve been
Lead me there, willingly
Again and again
Suspended naively and just below,
The strength of your regnant power.
Reminds, you are in complete control,
Of each moment and of our tomorrow.
soft, pure light across my fair skin
briefest of dawn’s touch this morning
reminds me of where he’s already been
