A Poetess Waits
Casting down poetic eyes,
while fostering emotions differently,
an accepting Poetess waits.
To protect herself,
she delicately wraps,
her fated heart,
destined to react,
expressively.
Securing each subliminal verse,
as her own dreaded curse,
she stands alone.
Tears falling, gently,
escaping from her grasp,
lost inside moments,
she knows will pass.
Golden Twilight
Hot, Humid, Houston
Simmer
Melancholy Mellow
Glowing Touch
Lead Me
Naively Yours
Whispers
Enchantment
Billowing
Water Works (Haiku)
Innocence
Brindled Petals
Welcomed surprise arrives via sunshine
Encouraging her to bloom promptly
She’s found roseate and willing
Her blushing pink petals exposed
Brindled markings adorn her length
Hot pink showing her inner delight
Sublimely eager this hour, she waits
Pleased and confident within herself
Knowing already, the others, too late
