A silly bit of playing
Like Mother Like Son
The End.

George Washington said it at the start:
“I was summoned by my Country, whose voice I can never hear but with veneration and love.”
Roosevelt reminded us that power always brought along responsibility.
So many important voices resonate as we leave D.C.
With change inevitable, “Who will lead?”
Yet, a wise man once told me, “Mom, I have goals. I put away the dreams.”
Extremely well done political poem; they’re not easy to do. Props to you!

I still think we need dreams, but it’s nice when they can become goals.

From the girl who is often dreaming about what could be, I agree, Dan. My son is just ready to put his head down and do the work. My prayer is that he continues to dream about what could be as each goal is met. Thanks for your input on this series. I appreciate the feedback.

Goals are a product of dreams if one wants dreams fulfilled.

A presidential inauguration, for sure but which one escapes me. This is my son, Brady. Wearing his George Washington University t-shirt. We were at the American History Smithsonian in DC.
