Most of us can’t grow everything by ourselves (that’s why we invented grocery stores!), but knowing we won’t starve if we plant some things is a real plus for living in “rural America,” huh? Sounds like you’re enjoying your trip, Poetess!
Yes, indeed, Debbie. If I were left to grown everything on my own, I’d be in quite the predicament. Hahaha. I was just boasting last night over my one zucchini and five tomatoes! Giggle. Thanks for stopping by!!
I find places like Greenfield, in so much as the visuals from the past, so fantastic. We have a few here in Nebraska that have taught me so much about life on the plains. Similarly George R Ranch in Houston, as it recalls early Texas. I loved watching them forge. I hope you get to Greenfield village, if you need a ride, I’d be happy to drive. You would like a place in Nebraska called Pioneer Village. Soooo many interesting and historical things to see. You’d love the tractors and automobile quansets. Full of American machinery.

Have a couple of the “Liberty” jars. 80+ years of keeping hunger at bay! They serve as a good reminder of a few things.

Yes! I’m so glad you caught this one. One of my favorite eras. I found so much joy while walking the American History Smithsonian.

Sounds like fun, need to add that to the to-do list once I get “permission” to roam.
