Longing poetry Encourages my heart to beat Evidently, written for me Or so I’ve imagined Lost inside a busy afternoon, yet Aching for your five ‘ o’clock shadow
Hey, Flirty B. π I get two from you, huh? I don’t know if anyone has ever done that, you know. You really think so? Or are you a fan of that final line, as well? You’re one of those poets I find myself enjoying regularly, but not often enough, Sir. How are you?
I’m pretty psych ‘ d that you love this poem, Dalo. I’ve been working on that short story you pushed me to write. I think you ought to show off your 5 o’clock shadow.. π I think this is my first ‘tremendous’ compliment I’ve ever gotten and it just so happens to be from my favorite guy. Thank you!
Aww. I’m glad I finally wrote a poem you could use the million dollar word on, Dalo. You don’t fool me…I see past your flirty words to see your eye roll. π
Yes….but how vicious, Duke? Oh really? Is it because you’re playing Bach on your nameless guitar? *reflects* What cloak thingy?? Where did you go without me this time?
You were walking with determination, Duke. Almost if you were about to punch someone in the face. *smiles* Yeah…I have no doubt. I was asked to sing a Christmas carol, record it and post it on my blog to help encourage people to get in the holiday spirit. Not even the force of Twitter will get me to do that…ever. Ha. I think you’re brave.
I have been thinking about how those feel for a few days now, so I thought it was time to get the five o’clock shadow out of my mind. Had to be done, Zak. π Thank you.
Marvelous. Marvelous!!!

Tremendous ~ within these six lines, you’ve created a story that is so much deeper and made so by that perfect last line. Wonderful!
