Melancholy Twilight

image

Melancholy twilight,
Convinces me to sing,
Of aquamarine skies,
With hues of tangerine.
Leaving me to whisper,
With no idea what to say,
Meet me in my dreams,
Help me forget about today…

  1. Wow! I absolutely love this poem Audrey…
“With no idea what to say,”… and the five first lines… I often feel the same you know: the beauty of the sky “convinces me to sing”. “meet me in my dreams”… I hope your vow will be granted. Very very touching poem! ♥♥♥

    • Frédéric. ..thank you for understanding my heart. I am so humbled by your words. Our skies are amazing. I try all day to write sometimes and go to sleep without a line written. My evening plea, our evening plea, may it be heard. Mine, I fear, will not, but I trust in yours wholeheartedly. For you. Tomorrow is another day. ♡♡♡
