Worlds Apart
I won’t compare
myself.
Ever. The
intriguing stare
she provided
offered
a moment together,
and it
dribbled down
your chin. A
true indication
of your desire
for what she had
to offer. My eyes
casted down,
was something else
entirely.
My Strength
Your resonant voice,
the confidant reassuring breath,
which strives to calm me.
It’s Simple
Today,
I need,
Backed against,
A wall,
Told I’m amazing,
And then,
Kissed hard.
When you’ve finished,
Push me back in there,
And remind me,
To fight hard,
For what I believe in.
Simple girl.
Simple instructions.
Simple needs.
Knowledge
Slow down dear heart
You have but one body
A single mind for consuming
What’s my rush
I can’t learn it all

Hearts beat rapidly
Bodies urge
A mind craving details
I want, I need, I believe
Striving towards excellence

Heart quickening
Hands shaking
Mind alive, perceiving
Are these three deceiving me
