May I?

May I…?

I have a few words left inside of me, if you listen intently you’ll hear them pleading, “Audrey, write us as poetry.”

Forever the shy one with something to say, yet I return no longer hidden. I humbly ask for grace as I allow my soul the opportunity to speak again.

IΒ miss you. I apologize for being away. My life has changed, but I’m still me. Just now gaining strength and peeking through… My poetry will continue.

Love Always,
Audrey Dawn

  1. πŸ™‚ “Just now gaining strength and peeking through… My poetry will continue.” And just like spring breaking through the cold, harsh winter ~ Audacious makes her way back to our world again, peeking through (great, beautiful photo) and seeing sunshine and happiness ahead (with the rain and sad times occasionally stopping by to put life in perspective). Wish you well πŸ™‚

  2. Mercy, you’re back for reals?? Happy dance Wednesday here! I’ve missed your words, Audrey … and you, of course. Lovely photo — much easier than flipping my computer upside down to see your gravatar, ha! I hope the time off has been good to you and that you’ve got LOTS and LOTS of photos and poems for us to enjoy.

  3. Good to see you back, and we’re gifted with a lovely picture upon your return. You mention that your life has changed. For the better? Maybe we’ll find out in your future poems. Looking forward to reading those. Shy people like us have substantial things to say. And you have nothing to apologize for taking a break from blogging. Needs come up in our lives away from blogging. And those needs have to be addressed. I was away from WordPress for about six months, and I’m still trying to figure out a pattern of blogging that works for my schedule.

  4. So glad you’re back! …How long it’s been. It just hasn’t the same without you, your words. Yes, you may, Audrey. lol

And such a beautiful photo. No reason to hide, there. πŸ™‚

  5. Audrey Dawn, I am so very glad to see you back here. I’ve worried about you for months, wondering if you were injured or worse. So glad to see you back here, to see your beautiful face. We all struggle. The last year has been a nightmare for me and I’ve only just renewed my own blog, so I know how the vagaries of life can take us away from our aspirations. I hope you’re conquering whatever is halting your steps, and I admire your courage to return to us. Thank you for coming back.
Always your friend, always a shoulder. Shari *: )

  6. NO WAY! She’s back. Yeah. Love that photo of you. Love your glasses. Love your hair. I wish I had hair like you. It’s so nice to see you Audrey. Hope you were able to deal with whatever it was you needed to.
    Anyhow, welcome back.
