I found you
Playing
Sitting upon a leaf
A sprinkled raindrop
Magnifying our journey
I see through you
You see through me
Spring
Where will I search next
Who will you be
Changing Winter’s muted hues
To an alive and beating green

I can sure tell that spring has sprung where you are Audrey. Texas right?
🙂
Hi. Right! 🙂
Your work is beautifully done. Thank you for your visit to my own poetry site. I shall return to spend part of an afternoon to read “All” of your posted work.
Thank you, John. This Texas lady appreciates your stopping by her blog.
I liked this one lots, Audith. Spoke to me of spring and better times! And it reminds me of a Kenny G song!
Thank you, Duketh. I was doing some deep thinking when I came across this plant and its leftover raindrops. I was hoping they’d tell me something…
Which one… *begs because it isn’t beneath her to do so*
No need to! “In the Rain” You’re probably laughing at me.
Why am I laughing? Because of Kenny G or the song. ..? You could be laughing at me…
I am not! Just because it’s so obvious, I guess.
It seems normal to think of rain songs when thinking of rain….I think. Kenny G, now, well he does make women swoon with his talent. Awww, be right back…
Where art thou going?
To listen to the song again…
Me too…
*wonders where the pillow is*
Wonderful poem. Nicely done Audrey. ~ Michael
Hi, Michael. Thank you for stopping by and letting me know you enjoyed this one. Your thoughtfulness means a lot. I was walking by these leaves today and the raindrops just took my breath away. I thought about them all day. After I was through teaching I went back and a few remained, so I grabbed a picture.
~Audrey
Been there, done that, wrote the poem. 🙂 As you were meant to, obviously.
I believe that, Zane. 🙂
