I wrote today
Poem
After
Longing
Poem
All
For
You
I felt
Your hug
I needed
Your kiss
I wanted
Your mind
On my pillow
Sweet
Controlled
Bliss
Do you see
Where this is going
Try me
I
Don’t
Bite
Kiss me sometimes

Intense, Audrey. It takes me back. Picking me up at the airport…he and I kissed like it was the first time–we were always so passionate–like we belonged together but passion without sharing thought and communication is not happiness. Wow… Ok, back to reality. Thanks for sparking the memories. π
Glad I could spark a good memory. Hugs!
Kissing would definitely be a different experience if girls did bite. π
Umm, yeah, for sure. π Ouch.
Humph….kisses are– I shan’t say it. I suppose they’re nice sometimes. A swordfight enables you to know your opponent better!
You are very contrary today, Duketh. π
Yes, well since I won’t be getting a lesson I will stick with the truth in a kiss. *taps her foot with attitude*
The professor is not! How am I?
lol So mean! Okay…you might get a lesson. Is that better?
Hello…you in there, Duke? π
I can be vicious and you can be mean! I will have to live with might. Better, but I refuse to have a man younger than I beat me at a sword fight…
I’m not in there! I’ve flown away…
Younger? But you can’t know for sure. Which is a wonder.
Oh no…!
I know I can’t and it is… *laughing*
Oh…maybe yes!
*smiling like a toad*
Alright…maybe no…! *pursing my lips and digging my heels in*
*Get Amelia to kiss you so you can be a Prince* (Running away)
Well, dadblameit!
*laughing lots* *takes out katana and starts hacking apart the floorboards*
You’ve started cursing again… *wink*
*sits in amazement and lets you know watching you get so mad is kinda hot*
Shocked! What does kinda hot mean?!!!
Sit down, you may have a blister.
Oh, I hate blisters.
*knocks her hand to her head*
Are you practicing boxing?
Not funny! ……kinda it was funny……I have to do something while I wait around for my katana to arrive. *sticks her tongue out*
You got a katana? *smiles*
LOL No…I need to read up on them. *kuckles to the crown if my head*
I don’t know why you keep beating yourself…
Twas trying to create a picture. It was a light tap…
I know. Twas being wicked.
You know I like that. π I have to pick on you.
Nice one–I especially like “I wanted your mind on my pillow”!
And it is so true for me. I am crazy over smarties. π Thank you!!
I made the mistake (a lifetime ago) of marrying a guy who didn’t read anything but car magazines, and had no interest in discussing ideas, etc–he only talked when it was to order me around. So I know what you mean–a man with a well-oiled brain–a goldmine.
Total goldmine.
Brilliant AD, keep rocking π I am sure there is a queue outside already π
Thank you for being you, AB. Not sure I’m looking for a queue just the mind that feeds me.
π
Kisses are nice.
And say “I love you” sometimes too.
=)
The action of the kiss is, for me, much more meaningful. Real kisses don’t lie. π Hearing I love you is always a welcome.
Beautiful Audrey. You can tell if a kiss is sincere, if it’s fake, if it’s passion, if it’s true love. Great observation. Food for thought.
I say the hearing “I love you” because I’ve been married for over 10 years now and I used to hear those words, but it seems like everyday life has stolen them away. I know my hubby loves me very much, but every so often it’s nice to hear it sincerely said.
Thanks for making me think. And I love the femininity in those words “the action of a kiss… don’t lie”
=)
Thank you, Staci. I’m glad my explanation helped. True love has its ups and downs. Treasure each other. .. π
Hmmm!
Good grief. .do you have a job? π Thanks
nope.
Oh dear.
Yup.
