Today
Spent physically busy
My title, Redheaded Chaperone
My mind left to ponder
What is blooming
Spring
Flowers
Love
Poetic pictures
I love you like this
I could love you like that
I would love you
To the moon and back
Images
Created by me
Providing comfort
What I’ve realized
Quite easily
Everyone wants a piece
Yet, I desire
All of you
Can you sense the difference
I need to know
What makes you tick
How do you dream
Are you busy
Do you sense where we’re going
Friendships are important
Shock comes from twin feelings
Bonds form
Your smile today
Left to my soul’s preference
One day
I promise
I will trace that smile
Using my fingertips
“One day
I promise
I will trace that smile
Using my fingertips”
–This is very sweet. An air of innocence and an appreciation of the simple pleasures in life.

Thanks, Staci! Those moments are sometimes better than anything else. In my opinion. Glad you liked the poem.

I love your title for the day, Audith! Now, who is this poem about?

Thank you, Duketh! π I think it suits me. I could get used to spending my day wondering around a Texas Ranch with loads of kids and dreaming of inspiration.
Who? Hmm. π Could be anyone, which is exciting.

You wonder about a Texas ranch? That sounds so coolio! Tell me more, to quote Audith.
Even the professor.

I wondered around a Texas ranch. I don’t wonder about a Texas ranch. Wait does that make sense? LOL How about if I use wander… I’m so confused. George R Ranch to be exact.
If you went for a visit I’d never get you out of there… It is similar to visiting, what I imagine Williamsburg to be, Duke. Early settlers to Texas and loads of Texas history. A walk back in time. It is a fantastic history lesson complete with a working blacksmith on site, sharecropper, who has a tree swing and chickens, multiple family homes to tour based on each advancement the George/Davis family made while raising longhorn cattle. I could keep going but….you awake, Duketh? π
I took some pics. Poetry inspired writings to come, of course. Oh, and yes.

lol Of course it makes sense! Not really!
I am! It sounds awesome. When are you going to invite me? *laughs*
Pics and music can do that, you know.

It was cool. When you work on your memory, I guess? *laughs more*
They canβ¦music, for sure. I need more music to draw my creativity from. You help me with that sometimes by telling me what you’re listening to.

Well…as of now…I’m not sure what I’m listening to. How about the Journey by Tommy Emmanuel? All guitar. And it’s awesome.
