~ Of You
Forces of the unknown, I keep you close
Feel the push and pull, itβs all self-inflicted
I read then reread words, admiring their clarity
Speaking clever exchanges, my mind blissfully addicted
This fresh interest continues, yet anonymity
I pursue musing thoughts, here, here and here
An affinity of the best kind, creatively defined
Thank you, AB. I must say that I enjoy finding comments from you this way.
Humbly, like a caterpillar to a butterfly, a poet this woman becomes each night. Thank you for such a beautiful response.
I’m glad you enjoy my poetry. I still find it very hard to believe that I can stand anywhere near the words I read here on WordPress.

It is not about standing, it is about dragging your heart on the floor of passion and then putting it in front of all of us with your soul screaming songs of longing and lust π write on AD, you do it brilliantly π

Thank you, AB. Now I’m blushing… I have so much to say. I will try to be courageous.

AD, this is beautiful π all I can say, humbly;
Anonymity assists, leaving no trace
Closer we get, more hurt we face
Admire your words, clarity and deeds
Love your thoughts, eloquence and grace

It’s beautiful…I think I’m at a loss. What does it mean? (I’ve got some ideas of course.) Maybe it’s meant to be secretive.
You reread words admiring clarity, the professor rereads words to help his dadblame mind catch up. π

Thank you, Duke. I hope the poem isn’t too confusing. I think you should rest assured on your ideas, whatever they may be. A mystery is always good.

I know, I’m sorry….do you want me to tell you what inspired me? I think I would make the professor blush.

Really? I like hearing that, Duketh. My poems have come this far, in truth, because of you. When they are horrible you say you like them. My poetry is what it is because you encouraged me nearly every single day. No one has ever done that, in truth this is true. Pick any line you want, they continue to be inspired by you in many ways. Thank you.
