Big news today! I’m “blogging crafty” over here on Oldest Daughter & Redheaded Sister, I have a new shiny Blog Button:
My BIL, Matt, is a lifesaver!
I’ve already succumbed to the notion that he’s possibly more intelligent than I, at least in some areas, so already I’m pretty stoked that he’s my husband’s brother and that I have him around as I take on more blogging challenges.
I suppose when I first met him at the age of 12, he was already on the fast track for being light years ahead of me in most areas of technology. Back then the tween was on fire and now as a man, he still is.
Recently, out of the goodness of his busy little heart, he helped me create something that is fairly easy for people like him.
You can imagine how our conversation went via computer…Let’s just say it was a lot like how a discussion about first aid would go between a doctor and a girl scout.
Yes, I’m the girl scout.
Thanks, Matthew! I think I’ve got it now, finally.
Kerry, over at Winding Road, created a Blog Button and it’s so pretty, don’t you think?
She’s promoting her blog button and offered to feature 5 bloggers during the month of October. Today, she let me know that I had been selected as one of the featured blogs on her side bar.
I agree, that this is pretty AWESOME, and so VERY KIND of her. I’ll also be featuring her blog on my sidebar, so when you get a chance check her posts out. Moms, you’ll giggle at some of her mommy moments!
I’m going borrow Kerry’s idea, of supporting fellow bloggers, and pay it forward by extending the same offer.
Kerry’s House Rules are as follows:
“I will feature 5 bloggers, one of course being the blogger who’s featuring me, on my sidebar starting October 11th and will keep them there for one month. If you’d like to appear on my side bar, follow this blog, like my Facebook page, send me your blog button image URL, and give me a good book recommendation! I am in need of a great new book. I will feature the first 5 comments of those interested. Thanks!”
Anyway, just a quick thank you to Matthew, for his help and to Kerry for her interest in featuring my blog.
Just when I thought blogging couldn’t get any better…. 🙂

Thank you. It doesn’t feel all that creative, as I just took my photo and added the name to it, but I appreciate your comment.
Your button’s are fantastic. I hope I become better at making them. 🙂

Professor, are you sincere? I have no reason to believe you are not, but thought I’d inquire.

The professor is, yes. I understand about the part about doctor to girl scout. I think the professor would be right with you there.

It wasn’t hard. If you have an iphone just download the Over app and it’s super easy.
I much prefer writing to the notion of sustaining an inviting blog.. 😉
