I watched tangerine turn into innocent sanguine,
while thinking of you, and
thoughts of how I want an “us” to be.
Feathered blues, birthed since before noon,
caused aquamarine streaks
as twilight breathed – were you with me?
My neck felt a breath, my back the push of a finger;
the moment continues to linger.
Isn’t it amazing how glorious nature can appear when it’s shared with a special someone?!

And yet I was alone. Beauty brings out the romantic in me. Sharing this moment with someone would have been ideal.

With a proper camera catching this sunset would have been a delight and one to savor. Happy my words please. Thank you, Dan.
