following the sun, past what today brought the final illumination, stunning. now to breathe, and settle pretty, into what will be my tomorrow. the acceptance of new, where I’ll inhale my reality, of watching for you
You do? It’s so simple here in NE, John. I loved watching this moment come about. Tis a grain elevator. You are a man of many talents and backgrounds. Love that about you.
A beautiful sunset, and it won’t be the last one, and as I said once in a poem of mine
“Home is where the moonshine shuffles into sunshine,
And where all my new days morph into shrines”
My mum always said, beware of those redheads !! I said to myself why would she say that, so I definitely try to find a redhead to see what the problem is, well the rest is history so sweet ♡♡ !!
A man not afraid of challenge is a good thing. We may be a jealous lot, a bit feisty and emotional about more than enough, but we do love with all we have in us. And that’s plenty to be scared of, so good for you and your redhead. 🙂
We don’t, Betty, and I’ve come to realize we don’t get a say in how long it takes to get to that corner. So I guess we look towards each day as a day closer to figuring it all out. Celebrating the journey. ♡
At the end of enlightenment lies darkness. In the darkness lay the surrender of dreams. I hope you find peace there too because, very soon, the trip begins anew.
Thank you for reading me, C.
Your poetry sits well here amongst mine. You offer an explanation of my thoughts thoughtfully, and it’s humbling to be heard.
Hmmm, I doubt mine is poetry. More a thought or a continuation if you will. Most important is that I hope it was prophetic, seeing you sleep well and then rise to a wonderful visit to today.
Awesome

I’m flattered, Ivor. She’s a beauty. Our hair color is quite similar for starters.

Either way your poetic version is welcome as a continuation, even if I prefer my original conclusion. Poetry.
