Wonderful verse to go with that lovely picture. I’ve never seen a plant with such interesting, small purple blooms. I love the image of, “words weaving throughout my soul.” Very nice.
Thank you, L.T. I appreciate you reading my poetry. Lovely to meet you. This, I believe, is a Moon Shadow’ hyacinth bean vine which grew over my trellis by the pool in Texas. Thanks again for the visit.
You caused me to blush, Betty. I’m so excited you enjoyed this one. Your support means a lot. β‘ He, whether, it is a man one loves or in terms of God, the Father, this poem surely suits a woman’s thoughts.
Naturally this (or so it seems to me) reminded me of this tale:
The Old Prophet went up into the mountains in search of God, and there he had a great Realisation.
And when he returned again to the tents of his people, they gathered round him and said, βTell us, O Prophet, what manner of creature is this God?β
And he looked at them for a long moment, deep in thought.
And finally he said, slowly and unblinkingly, βGod is a verb.β
And behold, the people bowed down and worshipped dictionaries.
Tis a Moon Shadow’ hyacinth bean vine, I believe, Debbie. It grew on the trellis by the pool in Texas. I wish the picture would have allowed for a better view of the flower, but at the time I was caught up by the wrapping vines. Thank you, my friend.
A lovely poem from writer – lovely sentiment.

Most definitely either way. π (I didn’t know which you meant but that ambiguity is what makes it so good! π )

Aren’t you glad you’re away from that hurricane now, Miss A.? Cornfields can be boring, but infinitely safer than surging waters!
