What do you think of this..
I’m not sure I don’t believe that poets (or some of them anyway) are not – not always consciously – like “nontraditional shamans”. Often what we write comes from “somewhere else”. “Gifts from the Musey Lady and Me” indeed.
I’ve always believed my words come from someplace else. Often times I read past poems and wonder how I wrote what I wrote based on my quite simpleness. I’m humbled. Then I read poets like you and think I’ve a lot to learn. Such joy comes from that, Ben.
