WOW! There’s so much in there, with so little said. I always find myself wondering “what Inspired this?” “To what are you referring?” But the vagueness is magic; it leaves the poem so open for any who read. YOU are a master of this!
Hi, Rob π Yes, a wildflower of sorts..dandelion thistle flower from Texas. Isn’t she amazing. I love how she shoots out her feelers. Gorgeous. I got lucky this photo turned out.
~Warning~ Geeking out a smidge…
Oh, the dahlias that have the spherical shape. The globe ones with tiny callalily flower type petals bunched together…just spectacular. I need a photo of her in my portfolio. Sigh.
Oh, yay!! If you were my neighbor we could share land and have the biggest garden in town. π I love to take pictures of flowers. You’ll see them about this blog.
lol! Yes, ginormous gardens! I tend to container grow my veggies, and keep them out of the mitts of the local ground hogs. They’ll wipe out an entire garden.
Birds are the enemy, too. Every year I struggle with harvesting cherries before they strip the tree completely. I wonder what they do with the pits? π
I know, and they tweet beautifully as they steal them too. *smirk*
They throw them at us as they dive bomb our efforts…hello?! Horrible shot though, so we have that going for us.. ππ€
Yes, tis so! At night in my backyard, while I try to write poetry, I often hear them come back from the bar, wings around one another, slur tweeting, and taking selfies with the owl..aka..the big guy. They’re assholes..giggle

Thank you, Grumpy. Amazing how horrible people can be to one another. A lesson in all we encounter, I suppose. Smiles.

Who cannot relate to this? And then there’s the symbolism of the flower…

Right? The flower is poetry..

Learning by experience, unfortunately. But such a beautiful flower, one with a million petals. A chrysanthemum?

Yes, experience is a blessing, Shari. Once we can compartmentalize the pain correctly. I’m glad you like the image. I think she’s beautiful.

Birds of a feather! I may upgrade my defense system to a bobble headed owl. Then again, the drunk birds may take a liking to that as well.
