Thank you, Anthony. This poem just feels right to me. Placing the words together allowed me focus time, which I benefited from. Sometimes I’m hopelessly intrigued.
Thats a long conversation, I’m afraid. Sometimes its what I find myself envying. I set off in a path of trying to figure out what part I’m most drawn to and why. In this case its love. Is it the idea of falling in love I’m intrigued by, my wishful thinking it were I, or possibly just being in love with how love feels, if I have in fact known this sort of love I’m drawn to or have desired. I’ve written of love in many forms since 2013.
Okay, so yeah.
The sociologist has revealed herself a bit.
It should be stated, for the record, I am also intrigued by flowers and why poets of long ago likened them to women or beasts of man…why not the other way around. I also like cotton candy. Beautiful birds, nature in so many millions of ways.
Not just love, but love/infatuation/lust create some steadfast goosebumps and I find that pretty cool, so now we head towards physiology and why our bodies give us up so easily with the blushing, wet palms, the rapid heartbeat, the lack of eye contact…
Rambling…
You asked, and that only took me three minutes to write. Imagine this, I’d have never said this out loud. Now that intrigues me, too.
Poetess of millions of words on chatty days.. now you’ve met her, too. Bet you’re sorry you even asked. 😉
Okay, well I appreciate you saying so, Anthony. When asked a direct question, I do want to give a proper answer. It isn’t often I am given the space to do so.
Well I am a counsellor by trade…but you couldn’t afford me! (Jk)I’d be happy to listen as a way if getting to know you better…heck, I might even share too..go figure. 😉
You’ll be surprised to know my day job. 😉 You should watch your email. Maybe I’ll be chatter than normal again soon. You share? To think I was only working on getting you to smile, Grumpy. 😘
Paying attention – key, isn’t it?

I like “being mindful of self.” It’s healthy, without being vain; sensitive, without being needy. Well done, ma’am!

Sounds right perfect to me, my friend. The poetic version of “adulting” , maybe. Smiles. Thanks so much.
