This little blue orb has a wealth of gorgeous secrets to explore. And aren’t we the lucky ones who get to seek them? Thank you for the reminder, Audrey Dawn.
I agree that wonder exists. It’s in the mindset to be open to seeing that wonder. And I love when wonder hits me — it did the other day as I noticed the clouds.
Maybe you’ve heard my daily mantra as of late.
Stop and look
Feel, see
Be gracious
Understanding
And breathe
I miss “seeing” the clouds. My kids called me cloud lady a lot a few years ago. I was constantly in them. Looking wishing and dreaming. I want that feeling back. Sigh.
Again, so great to see you, Gus. I hope you’ve been well. ♡
A good mantra, and I like the cloud lady nickname. Just don’t look at the clouds for too long while you’re walking. Wouldn’t want to trip over something 🙂
Too long a time stuttering in monoflex
Stuck down in here’s back o’ beyond
Buried deep, deafened by multitudes
Of fears, of hopes, desires, imaginings
Vain vicissitudes and comeuppances
Blew through explosively, wonderfully
Announcing preaching days are over
Took flight; the sky’s the limitless limit
This is exactly right, Ben. You’ve expressed yourself well and extended how I was feeling leaving no question to what needs done. I want to get to that place. Caution to the wind.
Thank you for honoring me with your poem.
You’re lovely.
