As pristine
Falls from above
Cold wraps across
Her laden chest,
Pulls her against
Frozen.
Nature sublime
Incorrigible desire
His spirit, like
A blanket of
Snow,
Laid upon fair skin.
Snowflakes replace
Flawed freckles, and
For a moment,
She, luminous, her
Soul, complete.
A body in
Crystallized radiance
Love this one, I hear you whispering through the ice. Beautiful!

You are a walking galaxy
those freckles are stars
offering light to others
near and far
so smile, be thankful for
who you are

Good afternoon, C. Not always are freckles something another finds attractive. I’ve often wondered about life without them. Moments of staring into the mirror too long, I suppose.

They do.
They pick clothes, cars, homes and mates based on all the wrong things.
My home is a good example. Most would pay it no mind. Two brothers once worked hand in glove. One did the building and the other plumbing and electrical. They had a very good reputation for excellent work. They built two houses adjoining the family farm, one for each brother. How do you think they built their own homes? I didn’t buy this house for the outside, I bought it for the way it was on the inside. Better unspectacular outside and spectacular inside than the other way around.

The reality of keeping up. I know this lesson. I’ve seen it ruin many lives. Judging by the cover has never been an interest of mine. I understand human behavior and know exactly why you chose your home. We’re very similar sometimes, except I do like everything to have a little lipstick and rouge. Where it’s located is up for discussion.

I’d put it on one’s face but my opinion doesn’t count as I’ve never really worn makeup.

Thank you, Shari. Feels nice to write of time outside with love as the motivator.

It’s good that you’re in a more positive mind frame – good time of year and hopefully a good time in your life to be looking forward to the best things in life. Be well, Audrey.

nice, dear sister!

I feel it, when I sorrow most;
