i hear sunshine
although the tone
too low or far away
to devour or identify.
there’s sparks
offered out
into the world
and they come
from your eyes.
a gentle smile
given in part
for those blessed
to be near you
and those who
trust your heart.
i yearn, dream
knowing one day
life will continue
as it was meant be.
Yep, this one’s lovely. So hopeful. Glad to hear the healing in your voice, Audrey!

So glad you do, Jacqui. Wasn’t sure if people would accept what I was trying to convey. It was definitely a longing for the beauty I saw and wanted to feel. Anyway, thanks for loving that part. Hugs!

Indeed it is so, John. It’s the making sure ones there for it that makes it tricky. Thanks so much. ♡

That is what you; see, hear and feel when standing in an area where only the world’s natural tones permeate through your ears said perfectly in those words

Such a loving, heartfelt, uplifting poem for the nearing season. And that photo – oh my, wondrous poet, you are also a great photographer. In fact, at first glance I thought it was a painting.

‘Tis the season for hope. I’m glad you enjoyed this coupling, Shari. I looked up yesterday and stopped what I was doing. The clouds and light just took me by surprise. I’m always so thankful for moments like those. I used to look at the clouds for hope a lot. Felt nice to return there.. I’m humbled by your words, my friend. Hugs.
